A traditional village inside the city's reach
Agua Fria is a historic village along Agua Fria Street on Santa Fe's west side, with family compounds, shared lanes and long, narrow lots that run back from the road. Many driveways serve more than one household, and many are dirt, gravel or older asphalt.
What we do here
- Shared lanes paved or chip-sealed, with the cost split among households.
- Gravel and dirt to asphalt near the homes. Conversions.
- Repairs to older asphalt broken by winters and trucks.
- Drainage so runoff from the lane doesn't end up in someone's yard.
Narrow lots
Long, narrow parcels mean long, narrow drives with little room on either side. We plan the crown and edges so water drains without crossing onto neighbors, and use equipment sized to the lane.

Questions we hear
Can several households share the cost of a lane?
Yes — we price it so the cost can be split.
Do you work on very narrow lanes?
Yes, with right-sized equipment and planning.
Is my lane city or county?
It depends on the location. We can help you check before planning work.
